CULTURAL CENTERS

They are places that maintain activities that promote culture among its inhabitants. Some houses of culture have libraries, workshops, courses and other activities usually free or affordable price for the community.

These places have great importance for the preservation of local culture, especially in rural communities that lack of theaters, cinemas or concert halls, also in large cities the houses of culture are important to maintain cultural activities with groups of all ages and social strata.

1. Teatro Municipal de Trujillo

The main cultural scenery of the northern city with capacity for 408 people perfectly located in levels that has the place. Also has piano room , ballet room and all facilities necessary for art and culture can be together in our cultural space.

2. Virgilio Rodríguez Nache Theatre 

It is one of the most important cultural centers of the region where about 50 performances are developed per a year. They offer presentations of plays, poetry readings, music concert, classical, modern and folk dances. It has a capacity of 130 people.

3. Casa de la Emancipación

The condition of the casona 

(traditional spanish house) is excellent due to the restoration was carried out according to technical standards, principles, theories and contemporary concepts of restoration monuments internationally recognized by UNESCO, the INC and the Venice Charter.

4. Alianza Francesa

Alianza Francesa de Trujillo is a cultural non-profit association dedicated for 45 years to the teaching of the French language, dissemination of French culture and the French-Peruvian cultural dialogue, contributing to the formation of generations of peruvians featured in the intellectual, cultural and artistic world.

6, Centro de Promoción de Cultura- CEPROCUT

Promotes culture and leadership to generate the local sustainable development of the communities, strengthening the social capital, developing the human capital and increasing the productive capital.
